Shorts Collection

Coming in 2016
This week I was working on my short story collection for the Solstice 31 Saga that I will be publishing this summer or fall.

I have the first five shorts done and available for free via the links to the right.

All these stories give a little more dimension to the complex universe I have created.

Anyway, I was formatting the book using a few of the more advanced features like hot-linked-table-of-contents. I was also selecting the cover art and formatting the books interior.

In a classic jug head move, I accidentally published the thing. It speaks to how easy the publishing interface works if you just click the wrong link it happens!

For about an hour you could have purchased it on Amazon. I have since stopped it but an important lesson was learned.

Do not rush. This is not an emergency.

I love the fact that in Indie publishing I am the one that is in control. I just have to always remember that I am the one that is driving this bus!

The Short Story Collection is coming along.

Short Number 5 has been released: Oklahoma Salvage

All of these are currently available for FREE. But get them while you can, because when they are all published they will be released in a single volume!

I currently have outlines for fifteen short stories all together. We shall see!

My cat Bailey thinks I use too many exclamation points.

He may be right.

I'm a very excitable man...

Short Stories Preview

I have outlines ready for a series of short stories related to the Solstice 31 Saga. The first three are already available for free via the links on the right.

Many of them are writings that were saved from the cutting room floor. All these will be released individually over the coming year. In the end, I will assemble them all into a single volume.

--I still need to create the cover for the final edition.

The Black Pod

Click here for the FREE short story.
Time for another FREE short story!

The Black Pod was designed to survive anything, even a direct strike from a nuclear bomb. It had to survive. It held the story of the demise of the Ventura. That was the Black Pod’s purpose. The hull was Polycarbon, and made of an indestructible fiber more than a meter thick. The internal power system was comprised of dual dark matter reactors, and would last 200 years without additional fuel. The internal inertial dampeners were so powerful, Chief Adams never felt the initial blast. There was no sense of the three axis spin that the Black Pod was in, as its orbit decayed.
