Now on SALE!!

When the dreams came, Kara Manning thought they were just nightmares of blood, murder, and destruction. A product of too much pizza and action movies on her new TV. She never imagined that they were far more. She thought they were subconscious fears transformed into night visions of red skies and her beloved ruined city of Richmond, Virginia.

She had no idea that the vampires of her horror dreams were real or that she was a Valkyrie, whatever the hell that was.

When she began subtly changing her dreams with minor changes in her waking life, she reluctantly began to believe she was a prophet of the pending apocalypse. She was a receptionist, a nobody trying to get by. Her dreams of red skies had turned to nightmares, and then to prophecy.

Dying night after night in her visions was easy.

Saving the world… not so much.

 Beautiful day!

I had an excellent day yesterday selling and signing books. The weather was beautiful, and the people came out in droves! Thanks to fellow author David Keener and all the folks who came out, including former co-workers from the days when I had a real job!

I'm Back!

Whiskey

I'm back from a week of travel with my wife and my dog Whiskey. My dog loves to travel.

It was an adventure to find dog-friendly hotels and restaurants. Hotels were easy, restaurants, not so much.

The trip started with some adventure. Lest than 10 miles from home we had a transmission problem with our truck. We had to move to plan B and transfer plans to our car. We still managed to hit the road only 10 hours late. I'm sure I Jinxed it by celebrating our departure an hour early.

Fun was had by all.
