I'm back.
Hey everyone. I took a month off for Christmas and now that the decorations are down, I'm back to work.
It should be a good writing year if I don't encounter too many monkey wrenches.
First up is a short story submission, that I will send out today. I have three novels in the queue for this year, two writers' Retreats, my podcast season 3, and a lot of adventures planned.
But only after I get this cat off my lap...

Old Guy Camping Adventures: The Pennsic War
It was a bitter-sweet camping adventure. It was supposed to be a two-week campout. After one night, I tested positive for Covid-19. I missed the first week. Plus, my best friend had passed away. He had camped with me there for the last twenty years.

Creativity: Photography
I am really getting excited about retiring from my day job. I will have time to step up several new projects. All of these projects fall into the creative category:
My first goal with the photo group is to get some decent author photos to use on my new website and in my books.
I plan on setting up a recording studio in my home where I will record the narration of my various short fiction and post them on a website that is set up like old style Science Fiction Radio theater.
--All of this will be done under the unbrella of Tannhauser Studios. A subsiderary of Tannhauser Enterprises!
- Photography
- Painting
- Book Narration

It's a dream come true.
My last day at the office will be March 2nd.
I am so excited about this. No more commuter traffic. I will be able to double my daily writing time. I will also be able to focus more on the business side of being an author.
Tannhauser Press and The Ventura Theater will expand. Tannhauser Studios will launch, a photography, audio and video enterprise. I will develop a new author page. I will expand my work in screenplays, photography and audio. I will step up my fitness (it helps the writing) and my relaxing.
Because I can write anywhere I may be visiting you soon.

What a Year!
One year ago today my first novel, STILL FALLING was published.
It was a Bucket List goal kind of thing. It was so much fun to write, I never stopped. Since then, all in the last year, I have written two more novels and a pile of short stories. I have produced two audio books and helped many Indie Authors get their titles out there.
Next year is also exciting! I have a fifteen page outline for my next project. I wrote Chapter One yesterday! I'm working on a collection of ghost stories and a screenplay. More ideas than time!
Looking back, that was a lot of action adventure for one year!
--I want to thank all my friends, family and readers for you support!

September 11th
Today I will do what I do every year on September 11th.
I will enjoy bacon, bourbon and pretty women in tiny dresses.
I will go to the range and make holes in targets.
Because I am free.
I have started writing my memoir for my children. One day I will write about my experience on 9/11. It was a surreal day.

Experiences
As a writer, I believe it is very important to get out from behind the keyboard.
It makes it easier to write about things.
Today's adventure will be sailing! I might need to include a bit of sailing in a future book!
