I am glad it was positive, but the real thing that struck me was that, it was written by someone I didn't know. People are reading my novel. People in Australia are actually reading my book.
It's kind of surreal.
Adding to that feeling is that fact that I now have an Author page on Amazon.

Yes, people are reading and enjoying your work. It is extremely hard to put down and calls out "just one more page...."

Yes very solid. I have finished the first draft already. I should finish the second draft this month. Then off to my editor and beta-readers.
